Haidakhan Baba

Haidakhan Baba, known as Babaji, appeared in 1970 in a cave near Haidakhan, Uttarakhand, embodying the timeless Mahavatar spirit. Identifying himself as Shiva Mahavatar, he lived and taught until his Mahasamadhi on 14 February 1984. His teachings centered on Truth (Satya), Simplicity (Saralta), and Love (Prem), guiding seekers to purify the mind, transcend material attachments, and serve humanity through karma yoga. He emphasized chanting Om Namah Shivaya, meditation, and devotion, while affirming the unity of all religions and revival of Sanatana Dharma. Establishing ashrams and temples, he attracted devotees worldwide, leaving a legacy of service, interfaith harmony, and inner transformation.
