Fyodor Dostoevsky

Fyodor Dostoevsky was a Russian novelist, essayist, and journalist who is widely regarded as one of the greatest writers of all time. His works explore the psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of human existence in 19th-century Russia, and deal with themes such as crime, punishment, free will, morality, and religion. He wrote 13 novels, including Crime and Punishment, The Idiot, The Brothers Karamazov, and Notes from Underground, as well as many short stories and essays. He was also a political activist and a critic of Tsarist Russia, which led to his arrest and exile in Siberia.
