Itzhak Bentov (1923–1979), Czech-born inventor, mystic, and author, bridged science and spirituality with visionary clarity. A pioneer in biomedical engineering, he contributed to pacemaker technology, yet his deeper quest explored consciousness and cosmic order. In Stalking the Wild Pendulum, he mapped human awareness as oscillations between matter and spirit, blending physics, meditation, and metaphysics. Bentov’s playful yet profound insights linked microcosm and macrocosm, suggesting the universe itself is a vast learning system.
