Sattva is Mind, Rajas is Senses, Tamas is Body

In the context of the three Gunas (qualities) in Hindu philosophy:

  • Sattva represents purity, harmony, and balance. It is often associated with the mind and intellect, promoting clarity and wisdom.
  • Rajas signifies activity, passion, and movement. It can be linked to the senses and desires, driving action and change.
  • Tamas embodies inertia, darkness, and stability. It is connected to the physical body and material aspects, often leading to lethargy and ignorance.

This interpretation aligns with the idea that these Gunas influence different aspects of our being.
