Dahiya aka Al-Kahina
Dihya, also known as Al-Kahina, was a 7th-century Berber warrior-queen and seer who led her people against the Arab invasion of North Africa. She united various Berber tribes and became the ruler of the Maghreb region. Known for her strategic prowess, she defeated the Umayyad forces in several battles. Despite her eventual defeat, Dihya’s resistance became a symbol of Berber independence and strength.
