Discovering Kenya: A One-Month Adventure
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi (22nd August 2024)
Your African adventure begins as you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi. A comfortable transfer will take you to your accommodation at the Boma Inn Nairobi, formerly known as the Red Court Hotel. Settle into your standard room and enjoy a restful night with a bed and breakfast service.
Day 2: Journey to Porini Rhino Camp (23rd August 2024)
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred from Nairobi to the Porini Rhino Camp in a minivan. This camp, located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, offers an immersive wildlife experience. Check into your standard tent, which includes an all-inclusive ground package. Spend the next two nights surrounded by the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife of the conservancy.
Day 3-4: Exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy (24th-25th August 2024)
During your stay at Porini Rhino Camp, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the conservancy in a 4×4 vehicle, perfect for game drives and wildlife viewing. The conservancy is home to a variety of animals, including the Big Five. Enjoy guided tours and learn about the conservation efforts in place to protect endangered species.
Day 5: Transfer to Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge (25th August 2024)
On the 25th, you’ll be transferred to the Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, located in Lake Nakuru National Park. Check into your standard room and enjoy a full board service. The park is famous for its flamingo population and diverse wildlife. Spend the night at the lodge, surrounded by the beauty of the park.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park (26th August 2024)
Spend the day exploring Lake Nakuru National Park. The entrance fees are covered, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the park’s natural beauty. Look out for rhinos, lions, and a variety of bird species. After a day of adventure, you’ll be transferred to Kilima Camp for the next part of your journey.
Day 7-8: Kilima Camp and Masai Mara (26th-28th August 2024)
Check into your classic tent at Kilima Camp, which offers a full board service. Over the next two days, you’ll explore the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most renowned wildlife reserves. The park fees are included, giving you access to the incredible wildlife and landscapes. Enjoy game drives and the chance to witness the Great Migration if the timing is right.
Day 9-10: Porini Cheetah Camp (28th-30th August 2024)
Your adventure continues as you transfer to Porini Cheetah Camp. Check into your standard tent with an all-inclusive ground package. Spend the next two nights exploring the camp and its surroundings. The camp offers a unique opportunity to see cheetahs in their natural habitat and learn about conservation efforts.
Day 11: Flight to Nairobi and Departure (30th August 2024)
On your final day, you’ll take a flight from the Maasai Mara to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. From there, a transfer will take you to JKIA for your departure. Reflect on the incredible experiences and memories you’ve made during your one-month adventure in Kenya.
