Saint Agnes of Montepulciano (1268–1317) was a revered Dominican prioress known for her piety and miracles. Born in Gracciano, Italy, she joined a Franciscan monastery at nine and became prioress by twenty. Her life was marked by visions, including one that led her to establish the Dominican community in Montepulciano. She performed many miracles, like healing the sick and multiplying food. Agnes was deeply devoted to God, often saying that earthly attachments should be forsaken for divine love.
