Look within. Within you is the hidden God

Swami Sivananda Saraswati

Swami Sivananda Saraswati (1887–1963), a towering modern sage of India, blended Vedantic wisdom with practical spirituality. Born in Tamil Nadu, trained as a physician, he later renounced worldly life to serve humanity through yoga, meditation, and selfless service. Founder of the Divine Life Society in Rishikesh, he emphasized the synthesis of the four yogas—karma, bhakti, raja, and jnana—as a holistic path to realization. His prolific writings, including Practice of Yoga and Bliss Divine, distilled complex truths into accessible guidance. Sivananda’s motto, “Serve, Love, Give, Purify, Meditate, Realize,” continues to inspire seekers toward health, harmony, and God-consciousness.

Serve, Love, Give, Purify, Meditate, Realize
