Wherever you are, be all there

Ram Dass

Ram Dass, born Richard Alpert, was a Harvard psychologist turned spiritual teacher whose journey bridged Western intellect and Eastern wisdom. After meeting Neem Karoli Baba in India, he embraced a path of devotion, compassion, and inner transformation. His seminal book Be Here Now became a countercultural classic, guiding seekers toward mindfulness and presence. Ram Dass spoke of dissolving ego, serving others, and living with love as the highest practice. Through his teachings, he invited people to see suffering as a doorway to awakening. His life embodied the union of psychology and spirituality, inspiring generations to walk the path of awareness.
