Nirmal Singh ji Maharaj

Nirmal Singh Ji Maharaj, born July 7, 1952 (or 1954) in Dugri, Punjab, became known as Guruji Chhatarpur Wale. After earning master’s degrees in English and Economics, he left secular work to embrace spirituality. His teachings emphasized oneness of religions, humility, gratitude (shukrana), and selfless service through sangats and langar. In the 1990s, he established the Shiv Mandir at Chhatarpur (Bada Mandir), now his samadhi. Followers, including celebrities, revered him as an incarnation of Lord Shiva, attributing miraculous healings to his grace. He passed on May 31, 2007, leaving a legacy of devotion, compassion, and balance between worldly duties and spiritual life.
