Real religion is to know God, to love God, and to serve God.

Srila Prabhupada

Srila Prabhupada, born Abhay Charan De in 1896, was the visionary founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). A devoted disciple of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur, he carried the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam to the West. In 1965, at age 69, he sailed to America with little means but immense faith, establishing ISKCON in New York. His translations and commentaries on sacred texts illuminated bhakti-yoga for millions worldwide. Through tireless lectures, writings, and temple establishments, he spread Krishna consciousness across continents. Srila Prabhupada’s legacy endures as a beacon of devotion, discipline, and divine love.

You cannot love God without loving every living being. And you cannot truly love every living being without loving God
